Traduttore, Traditore t-shirt (white)
Traduttore, Traditore t-shirt (green screen print on white)
Dress with distinction with this beautiful tee, ultra-smart and super-playful, just like you.
The Italian expression Traduttore, Traditore (literally, Translator, Traitor) plays on the idea that translation is always on some level a betrayal of the original text... but also a creative reimagining of it.
At Translator, we like it as a reminder of the creative act involved in translation, the pleasure of word-play, the thrill of rolled r's and the fluid, shape-shifting nature of language itself.
Green and white, for the cool customer who lightens up the room with their intellect and their effortless Italian style (via Jordan and the UK).
Design: Hescham KR (Amman, Jordan)
Screen Printing: Make Good Print Co. (Dartington, England)
